Points and benefits

How subscription points, add-on packs, and benefits differ—and the deduction order in practice.

Points and benefits both fuel speaking practice, but they differ in source and expiry. Entry: Me → Points and benefits. Buy subscriptions / add-on packs in Purchase center.

Reference prices (checkout wins): subscription about 300 minutes / ¥900; add-on packs 100 / ¥300, 200 / ¥600.

On the speaking screen

The speaking tab shows two chips at the top when present: Points and Benefits. Together they are how much you can still practice. If practice is blocked, the app steers you to Purchase center or the points page.

Deduction order in practice

  1. Use expiring-soon benefits first;
  2. Then subscription points;
  3. Then add-on packs.

“How long can I still practice” = unexpired benefits + available points. Family-pool allocation moves points only—not benefits. See Minutes pool and add-on packs.

If…

  • Remaining practice shows 0: check expired benefits and emptied subscription points; buy an add-on pack or wait for check-in / campaign benefits.
  • Practice is blocked: see the “not enough minutes” item in Practice FAQ.
  • The ledger doesn’t match: filter points / benefits history by date; if it still looks wrong, screenshot and contact support.
