Set Target exam first

Add an exam and level in learning settings. Primary exam drives Learn, plans, Practice, and the Store.

Target exam is the main switch for exam prep. Once set, materials on Learn, Store filters, exam choices when you make an Exam prep plan, and related Practice entries all align to it.

Where in the UI

Me → Learning settings (or Target exam in settings). Personal accounts can add several exams; each learning language can have one Primary exam.

Steps (personal)

  1. Open Target exam.
  2. Add an exam (Eiken / TOEIC / JLPT / HSK) and level. Adding an exam also sets the matching learning language.
  3. If you have more than one, set the one you are working on now as Primary exam.
  4. Return to Learn / Store: lists prefer materials that match the primary exam.

Supported exams and boundaries: Which exams are supported?.

Child / learner

  • Target exam is set by a parent / coach. Child and learner accounts cannot change it themselves.
  • If it is unset, some spaces fall back to a space default. Parents should still set a clear level per person in learning settings.
