An Exam prep plan covers daily material progress. For an extra speaking session, item-type drills, or a Mock interview, use Speaking tasks.
What to assign
| Kind | When | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| Exam practice | Specific exam, level, item types, and count | The other person needs matching speaking-item materials |
| Mock interview | Oral Q&A (Eiken / TOEIC / JLPT) | No item-type materials required; not available for HSK |
| Scenario practice | Everyday speaking, not an exam paper | No exam materials needed |
General steps: Speaking tasks, Family: assign speaking tasks, Teaching: assign tasks.
Suggested flow
- Confirm the child / learner’s Target exam and level.
- Prefer claiming speaking-item materials for them in the Store first (more reliable for Exam practice).
- Assign from Space → Speaking tasks or Family / Teaching flows; tick publish so it starts right away.
- They open Learn → Practice tasks and tap Go practice.
- Afterward, review under Speaking tasks · Completed or Practice records.
You can assign before materials are ready: opening the task shows a tip; the parent / coach can claim and return to the assignment.
