Get materials first, or this path cannot run. Open Learn → Store, get for free or buy materials for that exam and level into My materials. Without them you cannot make an Exam prep or Single skills plan, and Learn has no vocabulary, listening, or speaking items to practise. See Store and My materials.

The five-step loop
- Get or buy materials → Learn → Store. Skip this and later plans and drills cannot start.
- Speaking level check (not a formal exam) → a rough sense of level. See What the speaking level check is.
- AI plan → choose Exam prep (full schedule) or Single skills (only the vocabulary / listening / speaking items you tick), save under Not started, then tap Start. See Plan types, Make an AI plan.
- Practise every day → open Learn → Today for today’s step; or open vocabulary / listening / speaking items and tap Go practice. For scoring, see AI scoring. Listening and speaking items also support Mock exam.
- Review Practice records → each session and stage changes. See What Practice records show.
How this differs from “just speaking”

Exam prep and Single skills do not put “Plan · Speaking” under Practice tasks. Finishing vocabulary / listening / speaking items in Today advances the plan.
A day by role (short examples)
- Personal: Store get or buy → check → make Exam prep plan and Start → practise on Today → review Practice records.
- Parent: claim materials for the child → make Exam prep or Single skills and Start → child practises on their account → parent uses proxy view.
- Teaching: check learner materials → make a plan or assign Exam practice → learner practises → review the summary before class.
