Households have a shared usage pool. Parents can allocate minutes to their children to avoid one person using up allocable minutes for the whole family.
Steps
- Open the family and ensure that the child account has been created.
- Open the Usage/Family Members related entry.
- Select the child and allocate minutes.
- After logging in, the child can view can practice on "Me" or the speaking page (read only).
- Review the flow in Usage Details and Bills.

- The family pool is allocated Practice Minutes, which is displayed differently from the Points/Benefits of the main account; the allocation result on the child side shall prevail.

- The pool is empty: Check whether the membership includes minutes, or whether additional purchases are required. See Minute Pool and Additional Purchases.
- Children still cannot practice after assignment: Confirm that the child is logged in with the corresponding child account, refresh and try again.
