Privacy and security

Instructions on children's accounts, practice recordings and data.

This page explains DodoTalk's common standards in Children's Account, Practice Recording and Account Security. For details, please refer to the in-app prompts and official website privacy policy.

Children and Children/Student Accounts

  • Child Account is created by parents; Student Account is created by teachers. Passwords should be kept properly and do not give the master account password to children.
  • Child/student accounts have limited capabilities: they cannot change bills, cannot invite others, cannot switch spaces, etc. See Child Account and Student Account.
  • Guardians are responsible for their children’s use of child/student accounts.

Practice and Recording

  • Live sparring and other abilities involving recording must be enabled only after both parties agree.
  • Recordings are used for practice feedback and product improvement (to the extent permitted by applicable law). For details, see Human Sparring and AI Judging.
  • If you do not want to record, you can choose a practice method that does not involve recording by both parties (such as practicing by yourself).

##Account and device

  • Please log out after practicing on public equipment.
  • Please bind and verify your common email address with the main account for easy retrieval.
  • Entrances such as logging out of accounts and exporting data are subject to the App’s “My → Settings”.
