child account

Account + password, children can log in independently to practice.

A child account allows children to independently log in to practice while limiting high-risk operations. After adding a child in "My → Family", the system will provide an account and password (at least 4 digits, subject to App prompts), not an email address.

Design purpose

  • Children can speak on their own without having to share parent email passwords.
  • Parents retain the ability to watch, allocate minutes, confirm plans, etc.

What can / usually can’t

Usually yesUsually no
Independent login App practiceDelete account
Complete tasks and view your own recordsInvite others and switch spaces
Press confirmed plan/task openingLog in to child/student account using LINE
Live practice with parents (both parties agree)Purchase points or change bills by yourself

What do you see in "Me"

After the child logs in, the "Me" shortcut tile will display read-only information (assigned by parents or issued by the platform) such as You can still practice, and you cannot purchase or change the bill on your own.

Parent side

  1. Add a child in the family space and set an account and password.
  2. Tell the child the account password (do not reveal the parent’s main account password).
  3. Allocate minutes, confirm plans, and monitor progress. See Parents monitoring progress.

if…

  • Cannot log in: Check the account and password, password length and whether it is in the App (not LINE).
  • Confused with student account: The student account is in the teaching space, see Student Account.
  • Forgot Password: Parents can reset it through the interface in the home space (subject to the App).
